Important Notes for Use

1. Generally, shoes should be removed prior to use of poultice boot.

2. Correct sizing is important, as a snug fit will minimize poultice boot wear.

3. To maximise the benefits of the product, horses should be stabled or boxed, or movement restricted such as placing behind an electric fence.

4. Working or riding of the horse while wearing the poultice boot is not advised, as adverse wear and tear may occur reducing the reliability of the product.

5. The poultice boot and hoof should be inspected frequently (at least once a day) or in relation to the hoof ailment and/or treatment.

6. If treatment is required outside of normal equine remedies, seek veterinary advice for best practice.

7. Please contact Justine if your horse is between 15.2 and 16.2 and measures a small. It is very likely that you will actually need a medium unless you have an arab.
