- Fitting Instructions -
The Hoofeeze Poultice Boot is surprisingly easy to fit and secure.
Fitting Your Poultice Boot
1. Open the 2 large Velcro straps and stick them at the front of the poultice boot.
2. Open the check tab at the back of the poultice boot and roll down the top of the boot.

3. Place inside the poultice boot any compound with which you wish to treat the hoof. Adding water is not normally required. However, small amounts may assist dispersal of treatment.
4. Lift the leg forward and pull the poultice boot over the hoof. Ensure a snug fit.
5. Release the leg and allow the horse to weight bear to settle the hoof in the poultice boot.

6. Secure the rear check tab firmly followed by the two main straps. The flexibility of the neoprene will allow normal circulation.

7. Removal of the poultice boot is achieved by following the above instructions in reverse.
Important Notes for Use
1. Generally, shoes should be removed prior to use of poultice boot.
2. Correct sizing is important, as a snug fit will minimize poultice boot wear.
3. To maximise the benefits of the product, horses should be stabled or boxed, or movement restricted such as placing behind an electric fence.
4. Working or riding of the horse while wearing the poultice boot is not advised, as adverse wear and tear may occur reducing the reliability of the product.
5. The poultice boot and hoof should be inspected frequently (at least once a day) or in relation to the hoof ailment and/or treatment.
6. If treatment is required outside of normal equine remedies, seek veterinary advice for best practice.
7. Please contact Justine if your horse is between 15.2 and 16.2 and measures a small. It is very likely that you will actually need a medium unless you have an arab.
